Time & Attendance Work From Home Options
The COVID-19 pandemic has placed an unprecedented focus on employees working from home. Time and Attendance Solutions has put together a range of options for employees to clocking in using features already in our products. Some of these features are immediately available in the product you already have and some of these will be made available with a free 6-month upgrade to our flagship attendance product, CS Time.
Other options are available including upgrading to a more secure mobile attendance solution. Regardless of your circumstances we have options to both assist you deal with work from home employees.
If you use a CS Time Clock and access it through your internet browser then the clock is already equipped with a page for logging in remotely. Please note that these clockings are not GPS located.
Employees can clock in and out using a web browser from their Home PC, MAC or mobile device. The clockings will be visible in the web interface just like the clockings made at the physical clock.
Your IT provider will be able to enable your router to allow remote users to access the clock. For details on what setup is required please refer to this document.

If you are using TNA or CS Time Software you are eligible for a free product upgrade to our Enterprise version for a minimum of 6 months. The Enterprise upgrade provide some additional functionality which allows for remote clocking using a web interface.

If you require a more secure alternative to recording employee attendance for home or mobile workers, then our Biotime App and Software is an excellent alternative.
The Biotime app can record start and finish times, breaks and work codes along with the GPS locations of each clocking event. The attendance records can be monitored using the Biotime 8 software and reports can be accessed using any web browser.
